Claire Le Gallo
Student journalist and anthropologist

Claire Le Gallo is a student at the University of Utah in her fifth year of school, and
double-majoring in journalism and anthropology. Starting her college career at Arizona State
University, she wrote for the community and culture desk at The Arizona State Press for about two years, reporting on bees and waste to artificial intelligence and everything in between. Since transferring to the University of Utah, she has joined multiple anthropology labs, including an experimental/stable isotope lab and an NSF-funded Pacific Island identities research project. She is a curious person, interested in interspecies relationships and experiences of all species —human and nonhuman and inanimate. Additionally, she competes on the University of Utah cross country and track team.
